The Versatile Blogger Award!

Kori Miller has nominated me for The Versatile Blogger Award! I am honored to receive this award from such a prolific Blogger and BlogTalk Radio Host. Her show is called the Back Porch Writer.

The Versatile Blogger Award

To accept the award I must:

1) Add The Versatile Blogger award photo on a blog post.
2) Thank the person who presented me with the award and link back to that person in my post.
3) Share seven things about myself.
4) Pass the award along to 15 bloggers that I've recently discovered.  Contact the chosen bloggers to let them know about the award.

Seven Things About Myself:

1) At one point, I had membership in and played regularly at three racquetball clubs and had access to a university racquetball court. I was that far away from participating on tournaments...

2) I used to play miniature golf on a regular basis and played in several Putt-Putt Tournaments. I enjoyed those events immensely.

3) I enjoy reading about and watching movies about history; any time period, any character, anytime. Period.

4) As a camp counselor, I worked with the mentally challenged for three summers during college. The camps were affiliated with the Girl Scouts of America, and I was officially a Girl Scout for one year.

5) My first car was a 1970 Volkswagen Bug. It was an automatic that I couldn't even drive. As, I drove it home, on any hill, I had to put it in park and the guy that talked me into buying it had to get it off of the hill. (He followed me home after I bought it.)

6) The first time I saw the ocean, it took my breath away.

7) The first time I visited India, I was shocked by how green it was from the air. I was amazed at the beauty of the country and its people when I visited several cities.

Telepathy is defined as “the transmission of information from one person to another without using any of our known sensory channels or physical interaction.” In modern fiction and science fiction, many superheroes and super-villains are endowed with telepathic abilities. The term was coined in 1882 by the classical scholar Frederic W. H. Myers, a founder of the Society for Psychical Research, and has remained more popular than the earlier expression thought-transference. (Wikipedia) Writing about telepathy, King suggests that we are “downstream on the time-line”. We are in the here-and-now and as he writes from the past, he
