A Poet Strikes

A Poet Strikes

A poet strikes the magic chord,
Writing of his own accord.
Strumming softly, on the heart,
A poet plucks the perfect part.

A poet soars to mountains high,
Writing words in soft reply.
Beating, rapping winsome word,
A poet’s voice shall be heard.

A poet shines his blissful light,
Writing, breadth, width and height.
Touching deeply, warming bliss,
A poet’s pleasure, poem’s kiss.
