she d ❤ es scrimshaw she does scrimshaw on roses, her velvety touch, she does marvelous work maybe a little too much she uses red ones and white ones and pink ones too you'd be amazed at the carving that she can do she engraves love symbols, like hearts and flowers she can do this so long, for hours and hours she started her scroll-work in another place, too lately she carves on my heart, what can i do? my heart trembles and shivers when she sculpts away she's taken to doing this everyday she carefully, softly, carves with her scrimshander's art i can feel the markings when we're apart deftly, her fine tools carve and create i sit still for her artwork, no matter how late she's engraved her name in the center, so deep she said it's forever, it's there for keeps i never objected and i never will her artistry enthralls me her love ever fills © 2015 ajwrites57 A Long ❤ ❤ ❤ More love poetry  here.

Rudolph Rudolph enjoys the Winter Sun, Frolics in downy snow for fun. Tries to hide his funny, red nose, Some have even said: "It glows!" Little reindeer romps and plays, chasing snowflakes all the days. Left out of  the Reindeer Games, bullies call dear Rudolph names. Finds his solace in sweet Clarice. They love the snow and winter's peace. Igloos made from snow banks, hidden. They rub their noses. Oh! Fun, forbidden! A glowing nose is hard to hide. Rudolph covers in shameful pride. Nose shines strong in darkest night. the ruddy glow of reindeer's light. Christmas comes; so does a storm. Rudolph's home, safe and warm. Santa remembers reindeer's light, knows it may guide safely tonight. Santa calls for little reindeer's help to lead his team; deliver Christmas wealth. Nine reindeer in front of Santa's sleigh, Rudolph's reined first, to lead the way. Merry Christmas...

Glass Heart Heat of love, like burning fire, sand and grit, searing ire. Constant collision of emotions, strong, emits smoke and ash, right and wrong. Feelings unfiltered, smooth the surface, life and love's clash at cross-purpose. Love and hate, anger and joy co-exist as frictions deploy. Molten love like silica molded, yields glass, liquid enfolded. Hearts heat and cool, turn to glass. Shimmering surface, shining mass. Her Cloud She arrived unexpectedly, on her self made cloud, clothed in her sadness and her hand made shroud She drifted near in silence, like wispy, wafting smoke, first I thought I dreamed her, then maybe just a joke. She shared a smile through her self made mist, suddenly I realized she appeared for a midnight tryst. She stretched her female frame on the cushioned cloud, I gazed at her and thought of something to say aloud. She put her finger to her pink, full lips, "Shhhh" she hissed. I thought to my smiling self, "Oh my, those lips need kissed." She blushed beneath her shroud as my mind she read, I too blushed as her love-filled words soon filled my head. find someone to love i searched to find someone to love, and i found her and i loved her with obsessive love but she didn't like me and she never knew how much i loved her, dreamed of her, daydreamed about her, and still dream about her. so I searched for another to love, and I found her and loved her and she decided that my love was wrong, that my love may have been too strong, that i may have wanted to be with her too much, too often and she needed space. so i searched and found a summer love, she wanted summer love while school was out and when the school year started she decided that her books need loving and that i wasn't in her books any longer. so i tried to find another to love, and to be in love to find a heart that needed loving and wanted me to hold, to hold her long and often, so i loved another, but she decided that she wasn't ready to love me now and going steady was not what she needed now, so ...
