Spring Scenes: Wet Power

Wet Power The late Spring rain, massages fertile soil, encourages blades of grass, stimulates flower blossoms, overflows wellsprings. The late Spring rain, wafts soils' scent, releases grass' aldehyde, arouses flowers' nectar, radiates Spring's smells. The late Spring rain, reminds of other Springs, recalls love's youth, opens memory's vault, redounds heart's Spring. The late Spring rain, caresses life's length, touches tender spots, presses pleasure's thoughts, pulses heart's heaven. The late Spring rain, returns me to you, recollects your ideal, respire's your essence, rewards oneness with you. © 2014 ajwrites57 A Long ❤ ❤ ❤ Image:  By Богдан Тригубец (Собственная робота CC-BY-SA-3.0, via Wikimedia Commons

Nature's awakening

Nature's awakening The Spring sun shone silently. Nature roared to life. Robins and sparrows burst into a  cacophony of chirps and whistles. Tress and grasses greened and grew, crackling, in the woods. Flowers, budded and burst brilliantly; the yellows, the reds, the blues and all the shining, shimmering dew filled buds brimmed, beautifully. And I whistled a morning tune as basked in  Nature's awakening. © 2014 ajwrites57 A Long ❤ ❤ ❤ If you enjoyed this poem, please find more of my writing  here.

Love Allergy

Love Allergy When Spring-time sends love so dear, sneezes and wheezes, spoil the time of year. When Cupid's love arrow, flings and flies, it sends me itchy, scratchy eyes. When Romance, fills the air, my eyes swell and I shed a tear. When Love Songs begin to play, coughing, coughing comes to stay. When Love Poems sing and rhyme, breaths come slow, breaths out of time. When love triangles abound, I nearly pass out, fall to the ground. When reading love stories that are the rage, my fingers get numb, I can’t turn the page. Love causes these reactions, you see, because I have the dreaded, Love Allergy. © 2013 ajwrites57 A Long Image By kodomut via flickr I have to say this post was inspired by the dear and inspiring +Adrianna Joleigh If you've ever read any of her posts, you will find the wittiest, talented, and sweetest G plussers commenting. The consensus was that it is better to have a Love Allergy than to be immune to love. If y...
