Inhaling You

Inhaling You Soaring through space, there's a place inside, memories stored, deep within my mind. Plug into the mnemonic narcolizer and find stories and scenes long left behind. Hauling space freight, must be done, hurling far from Earth-side Sun. Medic-transport, life-saving run, will lustrous love survive, or be undone?  Floating image of our love, translucent touch, power of our passion, I miss so much. Swirling in the substance, a phantom I clutch, the echo of your essence, spectral rush. I inhale deeply and grasp for you, this substitute, this memory, will not do; embracing the past, wishing for you anew. New lessons of love, remain too few. Ballets of love, long past performed, never new loving; new love unformed. Ecstatic symbiosis not truly formed, your presence, your bed remains un-warmed Solace in the past, grown old and stale, longing for your presence beyond the pale, No silence for me in this lonesom...

The Treasure

The Treasure Thank you for the treasure, the gift of your heart. Like a rose found, uncovered, exposed, revealed. the clear, lovely reds and greens, careful to touch no thorns. I breathe the sweet fragrance, of your heart. Like a songbird, I enjoy your music, the colors of your plumage, the softness of you coat. I listen to the song of your heart. Like a precious gem, I revel in the perfection, the way the light reflects through the prism of your love. I look into the jewel of your heart. Like a princess, Enthroned in my heart, Ruling there, crowned and adored, adorned in the flowing robes, of my love. I gaze at the beauty of your heart. Thank you for the treasure, the gift of your heart. © 2013 ajwrites57 A Long Photo By Louise Docker from Sydney, Australia Please click  here  for other examples of my writing!

Space Lass

Space Lass Her astro-suit, stylish simplicity; her space demeanor fit explicitly. The sight of her space felicity: my heart soars with meteoricity, Starlight reflecting on her face, sublime beams, amazing space. Body moved in weightless grace, my beating heart could not keep pace. Her smile, the arc of her lips, the rolling hills of winding hips, fit so well in tight spaceships. Again my heart repeated flips. Our capsule knows implicitly, our love’s complete complicity. The power of electricity, our passion, pulsing synchronicity. Through the cosmos we race. Soaring long and far through space. Home aboard our loving place. Intertwined hearts with each embrace. Cabin lights, now soft and low, her shining face lit in its glow. With every galaxy we pass, my love grows for my space lass. Layers of Sadness

Sadness Overwhelms Sometimes we let sadness overwhelm us, let it overcome us, let it overtake us. During these times, our soul is filled with melancholy, with anguish, and with desolation. We feel alone, sit alone, and cry alone. Our hearts droop, despair, and despond. Our tears pour, puddle, and pool. Isolation becomes our closest friend. Aloneness makes his home with us. Solitude surrounds us like a blanket. We become disillusioned, desolate and desperate. We take no joy in any season. We laugh at nothing. We take pleasure in no thing. Sleep escapes us. Dreams haunt us. Escape eludes us. Anger has long since gone. The only thing we feel is numbness. Pain would be a relief. Regret is replaced by resignation. Rejection is the only thing accepted. Remembrance is forgotten. When passion has subsided, when dreams have dissolved, when hope is unfound, we stumble, tumble, and submit. We become disconsolate, despondent and distraught. Sack cloth and ashes becomes our garb. Sometimes, as...

Life Without Color

Someone asked, "What would your life be without color?"  I answered,  "My life would be pallid and pale without color.  Each day would be drab, dreary and dismal.  There'd be no primary colors, no rainbows,  no yellow sunshine, no red-blue-yellow sunsets  and no white clouds. No white snow or black storm clouds.  I'd walk in an indistinct and neutral existence.  No green  trees, no green  grass, no blue seas, no blue skies,  would leave me cheerless and dry. My face would not turn red  with anger or embarrassment. My face would not turn white  with fear or pain. I'd not grow green with envy.  Nothing would be just black and white.  My life would be full of motionless emotion,  if there were no color. © 2013 ajwrites57 Image URI:  http://mrg.bz/fwDYZp Image URI:  http://mrg.bz/g6haeq By  Hairysuncold Please find my other writings on Hub...

Last of July

Last of July Last of July, summer slippin’ away. Past the middle of my Life; today feels that way. Tomorrow’s yesterday. More is left behind, than what lies ahead. Losing count of the days. The day is hot, sun setting; cool breeze on the rise. Feel the sting of lost days, burning my eyes. The past has passed, is past. Hope is far away, hope has gone to stay. Last of July, summer slippin’ away. Sun goin’ down, Tomorrow soon today. © 2013 ajwrites57 Image URI:  http://mrg.bz/FiQoBd By  frankybaby If you enjoyed this poem, read my other work on  Hubpages.
