Inhale Deep

Inhale Deep Wretched waste of days and years, release the phantoms of your fears. Embrace the moment of your birth, live each second's fullest girth. Odious loss of countless hours, reject the pull of worry's powers. Endeavor to each minute strain, squeeze the essence from each grain. Putrid stench of anger's flail, release the tension of it's fail. Embody youthful joy in living, celebrate each gift life's giving. Guard against the loss of hope, pray for all the strength to cope. Stand firm in the face of death, inhale deep each eternal breath. © 2014 ajwrites57 A Long ♡ ♡ ♡

July 4th Freedom

July 4th Freedom Stars and Stripes forever wave. Heroes fought, the flag to save. Red and White Stripes in view, White Stars on a field of true Blue. Thirteen Stripes: seven Red, six White; stands through darkest, evil night. The victory banner hangs on high. Now hear the heroes' battle cry. Old Glory flies high in the breeze. Heroes hold up freedom's keys. Safety and happiness set men free. Fly high from sea to shining sea. Forefather's faith set forth the standard. The symbol is The Star Spangled Banner. Our country takes the huddled masses. The flag waves freely above all classes. We pledge allegiance to the Flag today, which flies over the Republic of the USA. Liberty for one nation, under God it stands, And Justice for Americans from all lands. © 2014 ajwrites57 A Long ❤ ❤ ❤ Image:  By wintersixfour .
Father Father full of love for son, shows him how life is won. Father shapes his lump of clay, shows him how to work and play. Father loves words and books, shows him his reading nook. Father spends time with son, shows him life from sun to sun. Father sleeps sound at night, shows him peace from living right. Father tells of wounds of heart, shows him how to heal each part. Father shares faith in God, shows him where saints have trod. Father shares when he's failed, shows him how victory's scaled. Father points to open road, shows him how the road is strode. Father opens wide the world. shows him how life's unfurled. Father loves the son's mother, shows her honor above all others. Father blesses his son, shows him how to bless each one. Father fades from all his days, shows him how to live his ways. © 2014 ajwrites57 A Long ❤ ❤ ❤ Image:  By clarita

Who was I

Who was I Who was I, before the sky was blue? Who was I, and who was you? Where was I, before I was new? Where was I, before I knew you? Where did I, lay my head, before God laid the river bed? Where were we, before God made a sea? Where were we, before God made a tree? Were we just a thought of God, just a seed, in a pod? Were we just an idea of God, just a thought, a miracle, awed?  Someday, we may find, we were in God's mind. Someday, we may know, we were in God's glow. Someday we may know, we were in God's love. Someday may know, we were with God above. © 2013 ajwrites57 A Long Photo  By marruu If you enjoyed this poem find more  here.
