Sad Sanctum

A lonely heart is lost,
is tossed.
A lonely heart is star-crossed.

A silent heart is weary,
is teary.
A silent heart bleary.


A frozen heart is glazed,
is fazed.
A frozen heart lies dazed.

A wounded heart is bleeding,
is receding.
A lonely heart is slow-beating.

An empty heart is crying,
is lying.
An empty heart is dying.

A crushed heart is deflated,
is unsated.
A crushed heart is ill-fated.

A broken heart is shattered,
is scattered.
A broken heart once mattered.
