another day

And yet,
another day,
falls.
As a leaf
drops
from a branch
of a tree,
the day
falls
from the tree,
called,
life.
The day 
is no longer
green,
but
brown.
All life,
taken.
The day
is spent,
no longer free,
to enjoy,
shining sunlight,
beautiful birds,
whistling wind,
renewing rain.
