Wow! I found my heart again today.
(I’d lost it somewhere along the way.)


I'd felt no emotions in its place.
(No emotions felt, no, not a trace.)


I found my heart again today.
(Now I sing a song, hooray!)


I feel some things I felt before.
(I hope some things I feel no more.)


I found my heart again today.
(I hope its here now to stay.)


I found a girl I loved today.
(I saw my heart float away.)


I felt my heart skip a beat.
(I danced a dance with both my feet.)


I freed my heart, bound before.
(I chained and linked it to pain galore.)

(I hope my heart is here to stay.)


I drifted up right into space.
(I feel I’m in a State of Grace.)
