Crystalline memories of yesteryear,
framed like snapshots, seem so clear.
Viewed from a distance, recall, true,
focused images, seem like new.

Remembered visions of days gone by,
like photograph's ingrained in mind's eye.
Recalled days and unforgotten nights,
remain deep within mind's sights.

Faces of people, recollected facts,
preserved like scenes from plays' First Acts.
Impressions gathered, treasured pictures,
likeness imagined, permanent fixtures.

Someone's there from the long ago past,
like photos handled and preserved to last.
Smiling, laughing, sometimes somber faces,
saved like etched glass, remembered graces.
