echo, softly your sweetest voice
amazed in silence, listening choice

mesmerize me with your words
love the lilt, like singing birds

your laugh sends me to the clouds
the giggle melts me to gooey mounds

your words surround me like cooling mist
close my eyes, ear-full bliss

my dreams fill, too, with your melodic tones
they find their way into my bones

like a puppet on a willful string
you move me, now, in everything

when all is said and all is done
you, my dear, are the only one

Winter's Way Snow swirls and settles softly, down. Frozen ponds and pine trees are painted white. Winter wind whirls, swirls and twirls in circles, up and down, in and out. Drifting snow piles high here and there. Snow birds flitter, flutter and forage,  then, hurry to their roosts to nestle. Bright moon shines and the ice reflects it's beams between snowflakes and flurries. December's icy blanket covers field and hills. Blustery nights turn into biting cold days.
