Poems

Poems Poems come in many forms. Some breach accepted norms. Words and lines fill the page, With the wisdom of the age. Structure makes the reader think, Imagination in writer's ink. Memories rise and fill the air, With the silent, spoken prayer. Poem's words can levitate. Rhyme and rhythm captivate. Deep within a reader's soul, With the words that heal, make whole. Echoed feelings reverberate, Past emotions celebrate. Tender touching inner power, With the spirit's rainbow shower. Poems flow from poet's pen, Odes and epics, heroic zen. Men and women both write, With the orb of heaven's light. © 2014 ajwrites57 A Long ❤ ❤ ❤ Image by:   Cover of the original 1846 edition of Poems by Currer, Ellis, and Acton Bell, by Charlotte, Emily and Anne Brontë.
