azurite beauty
meerschaum life
golden heart, hardened by strife

opal skin
ruby lips
emeralds on her fingertips

moonstone eyes
amber hair
amethyst eye-shade holds your stare

rose quartz body
diamond heart
reflects the hardness she imparts

all the gems she displays
all the facets of her ways
all the sadness which made her days
can these refract new, arabesque days?

Winter's Way Snow swirls and settles softly, down. Frozen ponds and pine trees are painted white. Winter wind whirls, swirls and twirls in circles, up and down, in and out.
